Meet Cartoon & Digital Media Pioneer, M-A Kuttner

Continuing our weekly blog series, we decided to switch gears and introduce you to a member of Team Snorble instead of a resident of Lullaboo this week!

Meet Cartoon & Digital Media Pioneer, M-A Kuttner

In recent weeks this blog has taken a peek behind the curtain at the wonderful world of Lullaboo®. Now, we’re focusing on one of our team members who is creating some of the magic bringing Snorble® to life.

Meet Michael-Andreas Kuttner – or M-A to his friends - our Executive Producer - Experiential who, in his own words, is a “jack of all trades and doer of many things” when it comes to his role within the Snorble experience.

M-A modestly describes himself as “technically the Snorble lighting designer” but we know from having seen him in action that he brings so much more to Team Snorble.

“I came onboard to provide the different lighting configurations that go along with Snorble telling a story or getting ready for bedtime and other things like that,” says M-A. “But if I was doing just lighting design, I’d get bored quite quickly. I like to roll my sleeves up and contribute where I can be most useful. For example, I worked on some of the AI routines that determine how Snorble has conversations with people. I do some video production as well, filming the various updates that we put on the website.”

To learn more about M-A, and just why he decided to get involved with Snorble, visit our blog.

Until next time,
Team Snoble

P.S. It seems we forgot to post last week's blog here, so we apologize. If you want to hear about how Snorble has fallen for the NFL, you can read the post.

This week's blog post takes us back to Lullaboo so we can introduce you to some of the wonderful places that exist there.

Building Lullaboo: Magical Places for Storytime

Two weeks ago, our Executive Creative Director and former Walt Disney Imagineer, Brian Collins, introduced us to some of the characters who live in the ‘Snorbleverse.’

If you were paying attention, you’ll remember meeting the Bi-Bobbing Bobbers (Bye Bob-ING Bobb-urs), Cuddlephins (Kuddel-FINS), Eluphunts (EL-Eww-Fonts), Poolar Bears (POOL-er Bears), Snorclepines (Snor-CULL-Pines), and Wiggly Woos (Wig-Lee-Woos). And you’ll have learned to say “Hello” and “Goodbye” in the Lullaboo language. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Don’t worry, the answer is at the end of this blog.

Of course, their introduction naturally leads to the question: where do these characters live within Lullaboo?

So, in this second part of his insight into Lullaboo, Brian takes us on a tour to some of the fantastical places where Snorble and friends live and play.

The Dreamy Savanna (DREAM-ee Suh-Van-Ah)

Located within the central portion of Lullaboo, the Dreamy Savanna is a very popular and large area that is home to not only many creatures, but some small villages as well. Known for its large soft grassy fields, the Dreamy Savanna is a favorite place for picnics and other fun activities and festivals. In some areas, you will often see patches of tall, yellow grasses with their feathery tops waving in the breeze. Elluphunts love to come to the Dreamy Savanna so they can safely dance without knocking anything over.

In this week's blog post, we wanted to tell you a little more about the recent promotional item our PR team cooked-up.

Smorbles: A Tasty Take On a Children's Sleep Buddy

Who doesn’t love s’mores? Roasted marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers, all enjoyed beside a roaring campfire. Ah, s’mores in summer, we can smell the aroma from here.

Here at Snorble® - dare we say it - we’ve found a way to improve s’mores!

The ingredients remain the same (anything different would surely be sacrilege) but we’ve branded those otherwise boring little white marshmallows with the face of our interactive little sleep buddy, Snorble.

Say hello to ‘Smorbles.’

Meet Some of the Adorable Critters of Lullaboo

In the next part of our weekly blog series, we thought we would introduce you to some of the other residents of Lullaboo!

Building Lullaboo: A Place for Children's Dreams

While our little buddy Snorble® quite rightly receives the most attention around here, did you know there is also an entire ‘Snorbleverse’ that is just waiting to be discovered? It’s the land of Lullaboo, a magical place that Snorble and their friends call home.

You see, in order to build a true land of dreams, our creative team, led by Brian Collins, has been hard at work filling Lullaboo with adorable critters and fantastic places. Brian is a former Walt Disney Imagineer whose talents you’ll have already appreciated if you’ve ever become enthralled and captivated by some of the world-famous Disney theme park rides that bear his signature imagination.

In the first of two parts that will feature in our weekly blog, Brian gives us a peek behind the curtain to discover some of the wonderful creations his team has developed. This week, we meet some of the residents of Lullaboo.

Lullaboo’s Critters: Your Child’s New Bedtime Buddies

Bi-Bobbing Bobbers (Bye Bob-ING Bobb-urs)

Bi-Bobbing Bobbers live in many of the rivers found in Lullaboo. They received their name because while they spend a good deal of time floating on the surface of the water, they occasionally will “bob” under the surface two times, one right after the other.

Young Bi-Bobbing Bobbers are about the size of a golf ball, but adults can grow as large as a baseball. They are mostly round with large round eyes

Typically found in groups, but not always. Bi-Bobbing Bobbers sound like the common bullfrog.

To meet more of our adorable critters, please visit our blog.

Until next time,
Team Snorble

We're starting a weekly blog series, and we thought the best way to kick things off was to share a bit more on how it all started!

Inventing Snorble®: The Toddler Sleep Solution (and More)

The 25th of October 2019 was a Friday.

Aside from the political storms of the day, high winds fueled a spate of wildfires in Northern California and Twitter’s share value plunged almost 21% following poor third quarter revenue figures.

But Mike Rizkalla was oblivious to such events around the world. A serial entrepreneur and award-winning creative leader in the technology and robotics industries, Mike had an idea.

That idea began to evolve as he and longtime friend and collaborator, Doug Hughes, himself a veteran of building innovative technologies for education, put their heads together.

Mike had been trying to establish consistent and healthy bedtime routines for his kids, Max and Emily, and thought an animated character magically brought to life might be the answer. Surely, there had to be something out there that could help with this.

Hope all is well,
