They say good things come to those who wait, and we know all of you who backed our Indiegogo campaign and pre-ordered Snorble have been waiting longer than expected. So many families are super excited to meet our little buddy, and we are committed to bringing each and everyone of you the magical experience we promised.

Last month, we started introducing Snorble to families, and we just couldn’t help but share some of those moments with you today. We know we’ve made a lot of promises around the experience we’re creating, and we think the video above demonstrates that we’re there.

Just a Bit Longer

While reaching this goal and preparing to start shipping to those in the Beta Experience, we’ve also been working with our investors to overcome a financial hurdle. We couldn’t talk publicly about this while it was happening, but we are happy to say that we’ve turned the corner and both new and current investors stepped-up to show their enthusiasm and support for what we’re doing. 

After their financial commitments are fulfilled, which we expect to happen later this month, we’ll be sure to update you all on where things stand and just how close we are to getting our smart companion out to every single one of you.

Once again, we apologize for how long you’ve had to wait. That being said, we hope the video shows you just what it is we’re going to deliver and why it will very much be worth it. Good things are on the horizon and we’re so thankful for you being a part of all of this.

As an extra treat, our friends at Lullaboo Studios have created another animation for your family. It’s just a taste of the world we’re developing, and we can’t wait to share more with you all in the future!

Hello,

A new year is upon us, and we’re excited to say big things have already happened! Not long after we were back from the holidays, three of our team members joined the world’s tech industry to converge on Las Vegas for the annual CES® event, in collaboration with global technology giant MediaTek.

As the proving ground for breakthrough technology and global innovators, CES harnesses the power of human interaction, across more than 2 million square feet of exhibit space encompassing 3,100 exhibitors and 41 product categories. Needless to say, it’s a big deal and plenty of folks gather to learn about the latest and greatest things from companies all around the world.

While there, our team had an opportunity to showcase Snorble® within MediaTek’s private Smart Home Zone to innovators, decision makers, media, influencers, visionaries, and other attendees.

MediaTek products have been integral in the development of Snorble, specifically the MediaTek Genio AI-capable chipset platforms that enable companies to develop intelligent devices for home, industrial, healthcare, retail, and any other IoT-driven spaces. You may not know it, but they’re likely in many of the devices you now have in your home, including a number of well-known products!

As anticipated, Snorble attracted many new friends while playing interactive games, telling jokes, and more, but the most notable element of our smart companion that truly set them apart from the pack was a feature we have been celebrating since we first imagined this concept.

Several other robots at CES suffered moments of inactivity or an inability to perform for the simple reason that the connection to their cloud-based system was interrupted. Not Snorble! While others were making excuses around patchy wifi under stress from the bulk of attendees, Snorble operated flawlessly, our advantage being edge computing technology and the elimination of requiring wifi to operate.

To give you an idea of how well our little buddy did, here’s a brief video illustrating Snorble’s performance despite the significant background noise generated by the event.

Of course, the real test we’re interested in is the Beta Experience when Snorble gets to meet families and bring the magical experience into homes. We know you’re interested in that as well, and we’ll be sure to share how it goes as we work with each and every family to make sure our little buddy is as great as they can be!

Dear backers,
Everyone at Team Snorble has been working very hard to get your Snorble® out to you as soon as possible. Our internal testing is going well, we are now dialing in the final touches on the experience to meet the high expectations we all have for our little buddy. We want your family's experience with Snorble to not just be good, but to be incredible. This means we will need to continue striving for a few more months to make sure that happens. We apologize for this delay, and really appreciate your patience as we wrap up our final production phase.

We have guaranteed since day one to amaze and delight your child and not until we have completed our process and can ensure Snorble is ready to deliver on that promise, will we ship them to all of our valued backers.

This change to our timeline means that we will begin to engage the Beta Experience group in February and then once we have received their feedback, start shipping Snorble in batches in March.

Again, we apologize for this change in our shipping schedule and hope you will continue with us on this journey. Alternatively, we will honor any refund requests. In the meantime, we plan to share some exclusive content for your child that is being created by our animation team as we bridge the gap between now and when you receive your Snorble.

Hello,
We've had a number of people ask us recently about Christmas, and so we wanted to share our answer here as well.

Unfortunately, we won’t be able to send Snorble® before the holidays, and for that we apologize. You’ve been waiting for our little buddy longer than expected, and we truly appreciate your patience.

We know how impactful our smart companion will be when you meet them, and we’re grateful for your support as we fine-tune things and work with those in the Beta Experience to receive feedback from real families. Above all else, we want to ensure the experience Snorble brings to families is magical, and that’s why we’re focused on making sure we get it right.

Although this means we won’t be able to get Snorble to Santa in time for his big day, we are sure your family will love them when they do arrive and we’re thankful to have you involved in this journey. We’ll be posting an update with more info soon, so please stay tuned!
